The Bord Gáis Energy Irish Book Awards are a set of recognition awards given to Irish booksellers every year. The awards are owned by Irish Book Award Ltd, a not-for-profit company.
It now includes 15 categories for the literary genres.
Thousands of people vote to select the winners every year. And since 2011, highlights of the awards have been shown on RTÉ television.
The awards will take place on the 28th of November.
Last years winner was Mike McCormack, who wrote "Solar Bones".
We're really excited to see who wins this year.
