The Man Booker Prize is said to be one of the most prestigious prizes, awarded to the best original novel written in the English language. The writer's must be from Ireland, Great Britain, the Commonwealth, Zimbabwean and America. 

 

This years shortlist was just released on the 12th of April. The final winner of the prize will be announced on the 22nd May.
