For any writers who want a challenge over the summer, we recommend that you try out camp Nanowrimo.
The free online camp is suitable for anyone wanting to start a writing project over the summer.
The public forums provide online support to any young writers and it is a good way to set up writing your first masterpiece.
Nanowrimo also run an online writing competition for the month of November where writers attempt to write 1000 words a day for a month (You can set your own personal goal if 30,000 words is too much).
Members of the school creative writing group participated in it before and have said they enjoyed it and were quite proud of the amount of words they had written some even reaching 30,000.
