DGS Book Week 2017

Once again DGS hosted a very exciting and busy book week! The week began with a very interesting presentation on writing historical fiction for young adults by well-known local author Nicola Pierce. Nicola described the process of researching, writing and editing her books in addition to sharing the highs and lows of her successes. She encouraged all aspiring writers to persevere with their work and to take advice from the people they trust.

At the end of the presentation Sinead thanked Nicola on behalf of all the students for sharing her insights and tips on the craft of writing.
