Special Guests for Writer's Week

As anyone who has participated in book week at this school knows, every year we bring in writers to talk to our students about writing and the writing process. These talks can be very informative for young writers as well as being a great excuse to get out of class for a period or two. This year we are delighted to announce that Nicola Pierce, local historical fiction author, will be coming to give a talk. Nicola Pierce led last years creative writing group and we look forward to seeing her return. The group has now been taken over by Nicola Cassidy, blogger and aspiring author. We are excited to hear about what Nicola Pierce is writing now as well as how her latest book Kings of the Boyne is doing.
